Soudan is located in Northeastern Minnesota, about 1 ½ hours drive north of Duluth on Minnesota Highway 169. Tower, Virginia and Ely, Minnesota are all nearby. Unfortunately, tours of the lab are no longer being offered, as the lab is being decommissioned, although the "online tour" links on this website will show you what it used to look like. Note that the State Park's underground historical tours are still going, and are extremely cool!

360 Video of the Lab

The lab is closed and the experiments dismantled, but you can see what it used to look like with this 360 video of the MINOS Lab (including the mural). If you're on a computer, click and drag around the video to look in different directions. If you're on a phone or tablet, go full screen and point your device in different directions.
